Windows Permission:
Before starting the installation of OBIEE 10g, first check that you have the administrator privileges of your windows. Because Its good that you have Database, Network and windows administrator Privileges.
JDK 1.6
Before starting the Installation of OBIEE 10g, Install the JDK 1.6 version or above. Its recommended to install.

Data Execution Prevention:
In Windows 2003 and Windows XP operating systems, DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is turned on by default for all Windows programs and services. Before you run the Oracle BI Infrastructure installer, turn off the Data Execution Prevention setting for all programs. To change the Data Execution Prevention setting (Windows 2003 and XP only) :
Depending on your operating system settings, use one of the following methods:
1. Windows XP menu: Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance (Settings) > Data Execution Prevention.
2. Windows Classic menu: Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance > Data Execution Prevention.
3. Switch DEP to Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only.
4. Reboot the machine.
OBIEE 10g Components:
Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition version 10.1.3.3.2 or 10.1.3.4.1 contains the following components
1. OC4J Java Host
2. BI Administration
3. BI Presentation Services
4. BI Job Manager
5. Catalog Manger
6. BI ODBC Client
